But shall we celebrate mass murder of people that just wanted to leave by people that were conscripted by the state and coerced to fight? Only if you want to rub the noses of the rubes in flyover country in it. It is understandable that the authoritarian left would wish to make it a state holiday the time when the federal state took over the several states.
