There is no doubt the the two parties are sick, feeble and hollow vessels useless except as headlines embodying politically vague notions . Hence onlookers, media commentators (or what's left of them; they too are sick) are rushing to fill the void by dictating positions the parties should have.Most of the advice is of the Goldilocks variety. Ah, for the good old days when these things were decided in smoke- filled rooms and the parties obediently carried out the decided upon consensus. When the parties became overdemocritized, they became chaotic. Adding to this chaos is the fact that a large and increasing populace is almost universally ignorant, many of whom don't even speak the langauge, are from Third World countries without any civic experience or just don't care.
