Proper Punishment

The Companies you refer to committed deliberate acts in violation of law. If Mr. Lawsky's agency failed to punish these companies, it would make the law a farce and put law abiding companies at a competitive disadvantage. In some cases the individuals responsible for the illegal acts were also punished.

You fail to show a better method of disuading companies from committing illegal acts.
