The wealthy are leaving California, or not moving there, and it has the nation's best weather. I can only imagine how easily residents of the Bay State will find it to leave for warmer climes. It's not just the extra imposition, it's the lack of appreciation for everything that they produce.

It would make better sense for the Commonwealth to eliminate all taxes on high earners, as proposed by philosopher Harry Binswanger:
