Biden the Omnipresent

Reader comment on: The Anti-Obama and the Anti-Hillary

Biden has endured much tragedy in his personal life, events that have brought out the best in him and serve to distinguish him from his contemporary political allies. I hope he gets into the race for the same reasons you have so ably articulated in this posting. That being said, the vice president is at heart a partisan and group player, to include working with his political antipodes as you pointed out. Yet, at the end of the day, Biden is more interested in sitting at the table than risking all on letting right be done. The times require a leader of sterner stuff, and I suspect that when push comes to shove, Biden will not enter the race, continuing to put enduring presence since the age of 30 ahead of taking a chance of being forced to exit the stage should he lose an election.
