If you decide that someone who supports higher taxes has a moral obligation to pay more taxes than he might, the question arises, "How much more?" Should he arrange his finances to as to pay 10% more than he might? Or, 50% more? It's not possible to decide what legal tax avoidance methods Fred Wilson may or may not properly use. Thus, the original concept is invalid. Fred Wilson is morally obligated to pay what he legally owes, just like the rest of us.
