Note that these companies are open with how they do things, whereas Theranos is close mouthed on their tech. Still proceeding thru the FDA however. So the idea appears to be valid it may be the execution that is bad. Now one would expect the companies to try the idea first in developing countries (except there is little money there is any Indian company working on this?) Given a choice between these blood tests and no blood tests the result is clear that any blood test is probably better than none. I wonder when the IPO of Theranos is due and if some of the publicity is designed to know the profits down.
