Individually it's hard to find any true fiscal conservatives or professed progressives who will support giveaways to big agriculture. Collectively, big agriculture always manages to cobble together enough of both parties to assemble bi-partisan majorities in both houses of Congress to the detriment of the large majority of citizens. Thus it has always been.
