doen't "pro bono" mean no charge?Reader comment on: Lawyers for Homeless Panhandlers Rack Up $1.5 million in Fees Submitted by texjudge (United States), Jan 13, 2016 13:38 I always thought that when an attorney takes on a case pro bono it means that he agrees that he will not be paid for his work. To come in after the fact and demand payment strikes me as being, at the least, and even dishonest. Maybe some of the $500K senior partners could stop being so greedy.
