when has the media ever been "connected" with any voters

Reader comment on: Truth From Andrew Sullivan

Submitted by Luis (United States), Jul 31, 2016 19:56

Apparently Sullivan quotes Greenwald that "the elite media is also utterly failing to connect with Trump voters" and that "the...media and politicians failed to connect with voters in Britain."

We ask, but when has the media, any, elite or otherwise, ever "connected" with any voters, anywhere? We do not remember on our lives that the media has done anything, libs/lefties/"progressives"/Democrats that they are, but promote the lib/lefty/"progressive"/Democrat program.

And now that we have the internet, absolutely the media is irrelevant, and not in some ways, but in all ways. It is actually impossible for the media to return to any condition which resembles reporting impartially the activities in the world. Forget it.
