in response to reader comment: Washington Mutual Settlement: Some Shareholders Get Nothing!

I searched for word of a settlement or a lawsuit of this one of two banks allowed to fail in 2008. I finally gave up sometime in 2010 and realized that my 500 shares for which I had paid nearly 40 dollars a share, were just a loss.

Today, I got notification of a settlement on some Pfizer stock which I owned back in 2004. That is why my interest was peaked on the WAMU settlement. Sure enough there was one but even though I had contacted some company by email several times at the time, I was never notified and as usual, I a little guy who used to believe in capitalism, no longer sees any way that it will work in this country which is so full of greed and corruption. Thanks for any response that I may get.
