the bias of the media is in good part driven by geography. Where are media outlets located? In large cities, especially in state capitols with lots of state employees. Urban residents are more likely to be liberal, thus the media are surrounded by liberals. I would bet if you looked at the 30 states that Trump carried you would find he lost decisively in the big cities that serve as media outlets. It's an urban bias, but the real issue professionally is that they don't recognize their bias.
