If you told me it was $70,000 or even $80,000, I could believe it. But there's no way that the average salary is in six figures. 2) Maybe the salaries are higher because of the job security. I know that people used to say that a professional who switched jobs would experience a higher rate of salary growth than someone who stayed in the same company for his whole career.
