Here is a link to newgeography.com which tells the store of the firehouse that they wanted to turn into a bakery/brew pub but outside modifications made not cost effective. http://www.newgeography.com/content/005820-mind-gap Note that the owners turned it into an extension of a print shop so a good bit of the regs were likely related to parking spaces and access which will be much greater for a brew pub than a print shop. (The piece includes pictures) The piece concludes that if the building were to burn down it would become another vacant lot.
