The very essence of a Progressive government supported by Labor Unions is the creation of an all-powerful state to rule over people who Progressives believe are intellectually ill-suited to rule themselves. Most Americans have the political savy of a 4th grader. They are politically uninformed or misinformed, they vote on emotion or single issues, focus the bulk of their attention on sports, entertainment (TV, video games) and the day-to-day struggle of work and family. They share one common political belief, i.e., Big Government should provide people with their basic needs. Their shared mantra is, "Big Government is good." They believe in aligning themselves with one political party. Single Party Rule = Totalitarianism. America has arrived at this point in history.
