So it may not be an issue of hiring the folks away from the SEC but rather the SEC trying to hire off wall street. Given that advancement in the SEC is more limited than that on Wall Street, you may have to pay more get folks to move to the SEC in the first place. Its all a mater of calculating NPV plus perhaps that the SEC is a worse place to work than Wall Street due to more limited perks.
