Ira I think you nailed part of it in the last sentence. I'm an older Father of 11 & 12 year old boys and I can tell you without a doubt that history is NOT being taught in schools. I have discussions daily with my Sons re capitalism, socialism, communism - even Libertarian thought! Both my boys know how to challenge their teachers - respectfully - when they stray into their own personal ideology nonsense. Parents must do this or our children will not learn the realities of the world. Communism has killed more people in the last century alone than even religion throughout all of history.
