This website does not say anything about doing it to take back the house. I am a fiscal conservative and social moderate and I am quite comfortable with the House as it stands (despite the number of knuckleheads from both parties sitting in the seats).

The issue for me is that in at least my NY 2nd home town, spending is out of control. Town has redundant everything and they get away with it because of the incredibly high property taxes borne by the 2nd homeowners. To me it is simple, my R leaning vote is wasted here in NYC, I should vote where I can have an impact because of the small absolute number of votes. But lets not make this some kind of Democratic conspiracy where there isn't one or are you still trying to prove that Vince Foster was murdered?
