I am far to the left, and could not agree more that our nation has some skewed priorities when an athlete makes thousands of dollars per pitch, but nurses are struggling to pay rent. Do you think that athletes would somehow be exempt from a higher estate tax or income tax? Of course not, they would have to pay just like the Waltons, Gates' and Buffetts.
