Fantastic point that cannot be made enough. Which person is more greedy---the guy who wants to spend his own money, or the guy who wants to spend other people's money? Along the same lines, have you ever thought about the double standard not just businessmen/politicians, but businessmen/actors, pro athletes, etc.?

How often do you hear liberals--or anyone, for that matter, demagoging against millionaire pro athletes, or calling multimillionaire movie stars "greedy". The fact is, the ONLY group in society that (everyone understands and agrees) doesn't deserve to be rich or even possess a moral claim to the fruits of their labor---because they stepped on the working people all the way to the top---are businessmen.

The Left amuses me sometimes. They see no inconsistency, believe Its perfectly ok to pay people who are really talented at the sport $10 million a year to play basketball 3-4 times a week, or a rock star to become a billionaire from conducting intermittent recording sessions between the 24/7 party life. But a businessman who pours his life savings and sacrifices everything to create a product that raises everyone's standard of living...oh, ohhh no!!....if he wants to keep the money HE earns, he doesn't possess a heart, soul or empathy for the "good of society" or plight of the downtrodden working people.
