"supposed intolerance"

Reader comment on: Saudis Ban Blackberries

I don't think there was anything "supposed" about the intolerance of the opponents of the Mosque. Unless one accepts that all Muslims were in some way responsible for the 9/11 attacks, something that President Bush to his credit spoke eloquently against, then there is no reason to punish all Muslims by denying them their right to build a Mosque wherever they choose. The only argument against this is one of bigotry against a minority group, something our constitution so ably guards against.

I agree that the censorship of Blackberries is reprehensible, yet another reason we should break our addiction to oil in the form of a revenue neutral carbon tax.

Oh, I don't think all the opponents of the mosque are anti-Muslim bigots by a long shot. Read Bill McGurn http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704271804575405330350430368.html
