The Rich are... Poor!

Reader comment on: Paul Krugman Wants To Double Your Taxes

The Rich are poor.... Not poor in Spirit but poor in humility and any sense of equality... Trust funds, hedge funds and what ever other "funds" (like off shore accounts) they use to "protect" their assets from tax or even audit has NOT been compromised by the swiss bank reform or any other legislation.... I doubt this would make as big a difference in the socio-economic divide, as you seem to claim it would. As the middle class, slides into the pit-fall of trickle-down economics and the God-Send of Capitalism, where do we stand as a people? United? Are we increasing our economic resiliency? For God and Country, strip the societal infrastructure and line the pockets of the already rich. At least the peoples budget aims at getting US out of the ever escalating Global War and attempts to put our domestic needs as priority one.
