Head vs. Heart Time

Reader comment on: Thoughts on the Republican Debate
in response to reader comment: Romney Won

It was for me, as with most, the first real look at Perry. I was not only relieved but impressed in a way I didn't expect. He came across as first, not scary, and second, as the man most comfortable in his own skin, à la Reagan. This latter quality is too little appreciated and too often underdiscussed. If Perry wins the nomination it will largely be because of this commanding characteristic. Romney v. Perry right now is a head v. heart race working to the advantage of the latter.
