how can there be a boom in Florida?

My Climatista friends keep telling me that it's only a matter of time before Florida will be underwater because of rising sea levels caused by global warming. Why would anyone want to move there, much less open a business in Miami or buy property? Doesn't the New York Times read its own hysterical coverage of the "settled science"?
