Is it just me, or is skier versus snowboarder one of those fundamental divides in life like asker versus guesser? And if it is, do we want a snowboarder as Treasury secretary? Probably the correct answer is that it only matters what he does in office, not how he gets down the slopes. Still, at the risk of offending the snowboarder readers-participants-community members-co-creators-watchdogs here at FutureOfCapitalism.com, I have to admit that reading about Mr. Geithner's snowboarding on Bloomberg News, the thought, "that explains it," crossed my mind. Interesting, too, that he's a Dartmouth graduate, like Henry Paulson, which I hadn't realized about Mr. Geithner until reading the Bloomberg piece.
