As I watch the sun rise here in the Harpswell Bureau, I heard that our president is going to New Orleans. I speculated on how Obama will engage in Bush Bashing today. Maybe when he does events like this, you could hold a contest for who most closely guesses the It's All Bush's Fault line. My guess: "Never again shall the federal government neglect its responsibilities and abandon its citizens who are least able to protect themselves, especially those of color."
I don't know what the prize would be. Maybe a 1-20-13 bumper sticker?
Or a coveted FutureOfCapitalism.com coffee mug?
Look for more in the prime time televised Iraq speech, though I suppose it's remotely possible that President Obama would credit Bush for the surge.
