Reader comment on: The Times and the First Amendment

Submitted by A.W. (United States), Aug 3, 2010 08:48

toward the end of the decision they also say that the first amendment applies to violent video games. as a great lover of violent video games i am happy, but i wonder this.

Virtually all video games are created by corporations, partnerships, etc.

In the aftermath of Citizens United, the NYT said corporations, etc. have no free speech rights. So what gives?

Mind you, i don't want them to change their minds about video games. i want them to change their minds about freedom of speech in general, to support it even when corporations want to speak on political subjects.
