I also was targeted by Citibank

Reader comment on: Citibank Raises Fees

I also received this incensing letter in the mail. I have been a faithful customer of Citibank for over eight years. I have never had $6,000 in my account. If I did, it was quickly gone to pay bills. I usually have between $1,000 to $3,500 in my account. Obviously, Citibank knows that I can't meet this $6,000 requirement. I felt targeted. Now I am in the process of switching banks. This time I choose a small, community-based bank. I know that small banks offer less convenience, but I would rather pull my money from banks that practice unfair and unethical banking and also target customers who are struggling to pay bills. Shame on Citibank.
