The folks in Wisconsin are very fortunate compared to my state and several others where liquor sales are the domain of the state government. Where I live there are more sightings of Elvis than liquor stores. Year after year, our state legislature makes a show of pretending to consider deregulating liquor sales, and, of course, never actually does anything because it is a continual source of revenue with a captive consumer and raw price fixing.
