It is a just a matter of what kind of society we wantReader comment on: Rationalizing Redistribution Submitted by ben (United States), Oct 6, 2010 20:24 I would prefer to sacrifice some individual liberty in the form of higher taxes to know that the poorest among us have healthcare, a place to sleep and food to eat. I am for equality of opportunity, not equality of outcomes (so long as everyone has their most basic needs met).
