Thank you for exposing this. John Bogle - who claims to be a lifelong Republican (not that this means much, since Repubs are just the 'Marxism Lite' party) on page xvi in the introduction of "Battle for the Soul of Capitalism" - is an absolute hypocrite. Received a letter from them about a year ago saying they were receiving advisory services from Lazard. Well, that letter and the information shown above is enough for me to realize that Bogle and Vanguard have completely sold out and are no longer trustworthy. I have been considering closing all 401k and IRA accounts for quite some time now (due to the fact that the Fed has been completely compromised and also the information linked to below) and this post is the tipping point. I will take my chances with managing my own money. If I lose it on my own then at least I can say I was not one of the suckers that was ripped off by the govt. If you are not voting for the tea party candidates on Tues. then you should get your head checked. Thanks again Ira.
