What do they think racism is, anyway? To "be opening a seat for a Black board member in the next year, adding a Black person to the senior leadership team" IS racist.

Racism is racial collectivism. It is judging the character or worth of an individual by the racial group to which he belongs. The left is a slightly different form of the same collectivism (e.g., socialism/egalitarianism---economic collectivism).

The opposite of judging individuals by the group (racial or economic) to which they belong is individualism: judging each individual according to his own actions and character.

The left (and the Trump-right) abhor individualism.
