Can them allReader comment on: Welfare for Journalists Submitted by David Lang Wardle (United States), Dec 22, 2020 17:26 Not only shouldn't there be a publicly funded welfare project for journalists, there should be no public funding of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Humanities. NEA is infamous for paying $750 for the so-called poem, "lighght" — that's it, a one word, meaningless poem by Aram Saroyan published in 1965.
