When will society say "Enough wasting our time with your nonsense?"

Reader comment on: McDonald's Happy Meal Lawsuit

How about just learning to parent? Dissension in their parent-child relationship ~ can't wait for little Maya to become a pre-teen & discover cell phones & makeup. The frivolous lawsuits will start up again. The woman along with a lot of other crybabies refuses to step up to the plate, be a decent human being & take responsibility for her own children & actions. Can we sue the mother for obviously bombarding the child with excessive time in front of the television then? Here's a nifty phrase I learned as a child "I said no" ~ and you did NOT throw temper tantrums over it. Angered & disappointed her? Boo hoo! Life is full of disappointments, get used to them now while you're young & when they come later in life, you'll be able to handle them.

The Future of Capitalism replies:

The lawsuit claims in part that the child is influenced not by the television but by other kids in her playgroup who become viral marketers themselves.
