Wow. That's the most ridiculous line in the article.

Something I was told when my first child was born that has stuck with me: You're their parent, not their friend. Your job is to raise them. To the "angered and disappointed" child - so what!! I anger and disappoint my kids on a daily basis! Kids don't know what's good for them. If I caved to my kids every time they became angry/disappointed/upset, they'd quickly turn into tyrannical terrors.

I so hope I never meet her daughter. I can only guess at what sort of entitlement mentality she's being taught.
