A free and democratic Russia?

Of course, a free and democratic Russia would be an ideal conclusion of 2022 ..... but that will be up to the Russian population. The U.S. cannot and should not force such a solution but Russians ought to be able to witness the impact of authoritarianism on their lives and make their own decisions.
