The right always tries to confuse (willfully or through ignorance) the situation by referring to climatologists as weathermen. They are two different disciplines. It's like saying a dentist and surgeon are the same because they both study the human body. But if virtually every climatologist agrees that the earth is warming due to manmade causes, we must take action. Whether it is geo-engineering, a carbon tax or something else we can argue about. Just about the whole World, with the exception of the American right, has taken its head out of the sand and at least recognizes facts for what they are - human have caused the earth to warm more quickly than it would otherwise, and these changes have the potential to drastically change weather patters.
