Thank you for a thoughtful article. Yes, future students can make different choices - I applaud that notion. I'm concerned with the long-term impact of the indoctrination of the last 2 decades resulting in ignorance on American history and values. Many - and some politicians - don't think the US is 'special' or that our democratic republic is worth anything. How do we address that?
