In fact the predictions of anthropogenic global warming are based entirely on computer models, the so called GCM's, general circulation models, which attempt to model enormously complex systems, over the entire earth, over a scale of 100 years.

The most important thing to realize about these models is that they have NEVER, NEVER made a verified prediction of the future. They are "validated" by "retordicting" the near past on the basis of (hypothetical) data about the more distant past.

In the absence of such verified predictions, no one would invest very much in the conclusions of a computerized model in any other field. How much less should mankind invest, as advocates want, trillions of dollars to prevent risks no one can actually measure with any verified accuracy.

Also baseball operates based on the laws of physics, too.
