Stoll gets it wrong

Reader comment on: Paul Krugman Wants To Double Your Taxes

Submitted by Mr. Truth (United States), Apr 24, 2011 22:36

In his first sentence, Ira. Stoll claims that Mr. Krugman endorses "The People's Budget". Mr. Krugman does no such thing. In his column, Mr. Krugman claims it is "the only major budget proposal out there offering a plausible path to balancing the budget" and considers it to be "genuinely courageous because it calls for shared sacrifice."

But as for saying it should be made policy, Mr. Krugman does no such thing.

It appears Ms. Stoll is telling a whopper.

The Web site for the budget lists Krugman as an endorser.
