Double my taxes? Not even close.

I'm in the top quintile of wage earners in the U.S., but at the bottom end of that quintile. The progressive tax proposal will hit me in exactly one place -- Social Security -- and the additions won't even come close to doubling my taxes.

Or are you only addressing earners with more than a half-million per year in this column? And leaving out the other 98% of wage earners.
