You are saying you rather use a limited profiles for everyone and don't share much in Facebook. But then you think that dividing people in 4 circles is not enough?!?!?

Just put the 100 friends you really care about in 10 differente circles. Then grab the rest and put them all in a limited circle or just delete them all from your friend and invite and dont put them in any circle.

They still can put you in your circle and follow your public comments.

It looks to me that you have not spend enough time looking at Google+. I am not a Google shareholder.
