I agree with you that it seems daunting to think about assembling yet another list of friends (or "friends") on Google+ when one has already done it on Facebook. But I do agree with Mr. Garcia that the Google sort is much easier to use and more transparent than Facebook, and therefore more useable. Facebook lists are unworkable. Facebook groups far too intrusive. Google+ has solved both those problems.

I think the real benefit of Google+ will be that it is the first real competition on the social network for Facebook, and I hope, in the face of that competition, the Facebook service improves.

How is that for making this comment relevant for FOC?

(I am not a Google shareholder.)
