If it wasn't merchant Jewish groups during the middle ages it would've been some other group to take up the idea and profit, using finance. I get sick of anyone connected to criticisms of capitalism or modern cultural changes to egalitarian as 'Oh yer a anti-Semite'. I never knew Jews were connected to half the financial businesses listed who are in the crosshairs of the crash. I've seen more people linking Aryan protestant ethos as the core guilty ideological modern economic memes and Jews linked to socialism/commies =anti-capitalists.

REALITY, just like all races, Jews, as an ethnicity/religion, have many outlooks and follow many different political and social systems. Those who fall into the int'l financial groups being castigated need to stop trying to blanket themselves with Jewish victimhood inferring anti-Semitism, when half the classic anti-Semitic indivudals listed were Jewish themselves but instead hated on leftist Jews and minorities..

I'm for sure during the French Revolution, one could turn around and try to twist it into say it was anti-Semitism based when it was class/anti-monarchy based. Some people tend to hitch their fortunes to groups in power and support the suppression and inequality for their personal benefit. In many tribal societies, like in Africa, that happens all the time and then you read of sudden vicious inter-tribal attacks done during revolutions and dictatorship upheavals. There are no Jews involved there.
