Here's something else. New Jersey recently cancelled off-peak discounts to drivers who have non-NJ EZPasses. One of the problems with EZPass is that the tax is hidden. But of course this will mostly hurt drivers who are not from New Jersey - not voters in NJ. (OK it won't hurt me, we bought our EZPass in New Jersey, even though we live in Maryland.)
