No automatic green card at HS graduation. You get a temporary green card if you join the military that becomes permanent after 2 years of good service. Alternative, if you go to college you get a student visa, and if you complete the program get a green card. Also in STEM if you are on a student visa other than thru the dream act, if you graduate you get a provisional green card, that if you work or do a higher degree for 3 years becomes final.
