Not good enoughReader comment on: Rubio on Immigration Submitted by Harry Binswanger (United States), Oct 28, 2011 23:58 Mr. Rubio's position is not good enough. Freedom of travel is a right. There should be no laws restricting immigration (as there, essentially, weren't until the 1920s). Foreigners are not criminals and should not be treated as such. Illegal immigration? Legalize it. Problem solved. I admire the illegals. Why should our unjust laws stop them from living a better life? It's wrong to break laws when that involves using force, but coming here does not. It's the law that's wrong, not those ambitious souls seeking freedom and prosperity. Note: Comments are moderated by the editor and are subject to editing. The Future of Capitalism replies: How would you deal with the problem of, say, a visiting incoming member of the Iranian Republican Guard, or Hezbollah? Other reader comments on this item
