Good prediction on the short life of this stupid idea.

But there is still time for a progressive tax on the Christmas trees of millionaires, or a Cash for Clunkers-style program to encourage Americans to trade in their artificial trees. Perhaps a tree-walking program to see what happens when artificial Christmas trees get into the hands of Mexican drug dealers.
