I believe that Perry made a couple of great points, including:

Congress serving on a bi-annual basis at a fixed monthly fee, no benefits or other trappings.

Prioritizing and fighting for a balanced budget amendment - cap at 18% of GDP.

Was I the only one who heard the roar of approval?
