Blaming Obama for raising tobacco & tanning salon taxes? Gimme a break! Those were good moves, even if they will raise comparatively little revenue over 10 years. and it was the Supreme Court that labeled the ACA penalties as taxes when they saidObamacare passed constitutional muster.

We need more taxation not less. I hope Congress will decide to use its taxing power to provide health care to everyone. Join the other advanced industrialized nations of the world and pass a single payer, cost-effective, and humane Medicare-for-All plan.
